Red yard long beans, also known as Chinese Red Noodle beans or asparagus beans, are a heat-loving vegetable famous for their stunning, deep burgundy color and incredible length. Though botanically related to southern peas and cowpeas rather than common green beans, they are used in much the same way and are prized for their sweet, slightly nutty flavor.
